Dr. Howenstine graduated with honors from Marquette University School of Dentistry. He has practiced in Kimberly, Wisconsin with Midwest Dental. He maintains membership in the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association.

In order to provide the best possible treatment for his patients, Dr. Howenstine regularly attends continuing education courses. He comes from a long line of dental professionals, with his grandfather, uncle, and father being dentists and his mother a hygienist.

Dr. Howenstine and his wife Ana reside in St. Joseph with their three children, Caroline, James, and Mary.

In his free time, Dr. Howenstine enjoys watching sports, hunting, technology, and fitness.
