Dr. Burt grew up in the Chicago area and graduated from University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. She served in the US Navy Dental Corps until August, 2016. Prior to her active duty service, Dr. Burt was staff dentist at the VINA Community Dental Center in Brighton, Michigan. She has been married to her husband James for 10 years and they have four children, Avery, Evelyn, Lydia, and Whitney.
