Katie comes from a lifelong career on her family’s southwest Michigan produce farm. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two lovely daughters, two horses, two shitzus and a cat. Her favorite part of her job is welcoming our patients to St. Joseph Dentistry.
Madyson is from Benton Harbor, Michigan, and graduated from Coloma High School. She enjoys shopping, spending time with her animals, and cherishing moments with her new baby nephew. Madyson is excited to see where this journey at St. Joseph Dentistry takes her.
Leanna grew up in the area and graduated from St. Joseph High School. She has two children, Aidan, and Ariana, who both attend St. Joseph Public Schools. Leanna enjoys yoga, going to the beach, gardening, reading and writing. About her position, Leanna says, “I love to help people and am so happy to be a part of the St. Joseph Dentistry team!”
Meg is a lifelong native of the Southwest Michigan area. She graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Meg enjoys cooking, gardening and yoga. She loves spending time with her family and friends and her dog, Tori.
Ricardo has a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from the University of Cali, Colombia. He moved to the USA in 2016, where he spent time in Chicago and Colorado. He, his wife, and 3 dogs moved to Michigan to be close to family in 2023 when they welcomed their son. In Ricardo's free time he enjoys practicing sports, reading and gardening.
Tara grew up in a suburb of Chicago and studied at the College of DuPage in Illinois. During that time, she was offered a college internship to work at Walt Disney World which she accepted and enjoyed very much! In her free time, Tara loves to spend time with her family and 2 children. She also enjoys living close to the beach.
Dr. Burt grew up in the Chicago area and graduated from University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2007. She served in the US Navy Dental Corps until August of 2016. Prior to her active duty service, Dr. Burt was staff dentist at the VINA Community Dental Center in Brighton, Michigan. She married her husband James in 2006 and they have five children, Avery, Evelyn, Lydia, Whitney, and Elliott.
A Chicago native, Dr. Jin Choi earned his degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and completed his residency at the Buffalo VA Hospital in 2008. Having served as a missionary for three years prior to dental school, he brings a mission-minded heart to every patient he treats. Dr. Choi has been practicing comprehensive dentistry—from surgery to cosmetic care—since 2008. Married in 2002, he is a devoted husband and father of three.
Becky joined the St. Joseph Dentistry team in 2017, when her & her husband returned to their hometown of St. Joseph. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences. Becky and her husband welcomed their first child in May 2019. Her hobbies include playing soccer and traveling. She loves being back in Southwest Michigan and spending time with family and friends.
Jake graduated from Bridgman High School in 2012. He then went onto Ferris State University where he received an Associate degree in Dental Hygiene. Jake has been with our office since September 2016. In his free time, he enjoys camping, boating, and spending time with family and friends.
