Project will Allow Dental Practice to Serve More Patients
Construction efforts are underway for a massive expansion project at St. Joseph Dentistry that will nearly double the dental office space available to serve patients. St. Joseph Dentistry will remain fully operational during the expansion project, which includes: a new centralized patient waiting room with designated kid’s play area, fifteen treatment rooms, a centralized sterilization room, additional restrooms, and a new staff conference room and lounge.
St. Joseph Dentistry selected Pearson Construction as their Design Builder who will utilize their in-house architectural firm, TERA Architects, as their design partner. Once the new addition is complete, the practice will move into the new space and phase two of renovations will take place on the existing building. Construction is expected to conclude next March.
St. Joseph Dentistry owner, Charles Howenstine, DDS, comes from a long line of dental professionals dedicated to serving the needs of their patients. His grandfather, uncle, and father were all dentists, and his mother a hygienist. He says that strong connection to dentistry helped lay the groundwork for his commitment to serving the dental needs of southwest Michigan.
“The relationship that I have developed with my patients over the last eight years has been really rewarding for me,” says Dr. Howenstine. “I truly enjoy being able to improve a person’s quality of life through the work that we do. This new addition will allow us to expand care to an even greater number of patients, bringing them the same high-level care and dental experience our patients have become accustomed to at St. Joseph Dentistry.”
Dr. Howenstine is joined by Theresa Burt, DDS, Stephanie Grider, DMD, and their dedicated and caring staff in offering a wide-variety of high-quality, compassionate dentistry services for residents of St. Joseph, Stevensville, Benton Harbor, and all of Southwest Michigan. From general dentistry services, such as dental cleanings and exams, to more complex cosmetic dentistry procedures, the staff at St. Joseph Dentistry is here to help meet the needs of patients of all ages.
