Dr. Burt grew up in the Chicago area and graduated from University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2007. She served in the US Navy Dental Corps until August, 2016. Prior to her active duty service, Dr. Burt was staff dentist at the VINA Community Dental Center in Brighton, Michigan. She married her husband James in 2006 and they have five children, Avery, Evelyn, Lydia, Whitney, and Elliott.
Dr. Zach Gomola earned his dental degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Illinois and has served a small-town community in western Illinois in a public health setting for the past two years. Originally from the Detroit area, Dr. Gomola recently relocated to St. Joseph to be closer to family, where he hopes to establish deep roots. He believes prevention is key in dentistry and believes regular dental check-ups are vital to catching issues early. Outside the dental office, Dr. Gomola enjoys cooking healthy meals for his family, playing video games, and watches sports with his twin sons. His interest in lifelong learning enriches his approach to dentistry, and he looks forward to serving his new community.
Dr. Ali Gomola, a Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine graduate, has dedicated the past couple years to dentistry in a small western Illinois town and recently moved to St. Joseph to be closer to family. Her career journey took an intriguing turn, as she previously worked as a food chemist before embarking on her dental path. She believes oral health is directly connected to overall health. Beyond her practice, Dr. Gomola treasures time with her twin sons and pet Aussie, often enjoying yoga to maintain balance in her life.
Dr. Dunn grew up in Perry, Michigan. He played soccer at Olivet College while pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Biology. It was during these formative years that he developed a profound interest in dentistry, inspired by the footsteps of his older brother. Dr. Dunn’s commitment to excellence led him to the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He is a member of both the Michigan Dental Association and the American Dental Association, demonstrating his dedication to stay at the forefront of dental advancements. Beyond the dental chair, Dr. Dunn cherishes quality time with his loved ones. He’s often found enjoying playful moments with his loyal companion, Ziggy, exploring virtual worlds through video games, and watching movies. Recently, Dr. Dunn and his wife, Maddy, embarked on a new chapter by relocating to Paw Paw, Michigan, where they eagerly await the arrival of their first child, a daughter, expected this December.
